Hi! My name is Laura Dainauskiene (Dai), an operational startup leader, customer experience advocate and product enthusiast. My career journey has been nothing but boring with local and global projects spanning across UK, Italy, USA and Canada. International work experience has allowed my perspective and skills to be shaped towards becoming process driven global hands-on leader.

As a Lithuanian who lived in London, UK for 7 years before moving to Toronto, Canada in 2022, I proud myself in having an open, inclusive and well-rounded point of view on business operations, start up challenges as well as building and leading the teams across the world. With lots of my focus in supply chain, logistics and operations, I am also passionate about customer experience and product development. I feel the most comfortable in retail tech as well as eCommerce environment, but I also believe in stepping out of your comfort zone to grow both professionally and as a human being.
When not at work, you’ll find me hiking in one of the Ontario Provincial Parks 🥾, gardening in my rooftop urban garden 🌱, reading fiction and non-fiction literature 📚 or spending time with my dog Barley 🐶

Business operations, processes, logistics and project implementation are my super powers at Dropit. I coach, lead, guide and support all and any team members and processes relating to internal and external operations, logistics and courier integrations, implementation of Dropit’s enterprise solution as well as off-the-shelf handsfree shopping solution for shopping malls. Growing to the role from the bottom up allows me to lead the team with empathy and understanding while not compromising on achieving KPIs and defined goals. Exceptional (and I mean it!) attention to details serves me well in an operational day-to-day role and having worn many startup hats prepares me well for strategic thinking and bigger picture conversations.

Role where I fell in love with startups. I was managing concessions to bring the product closer to the customers, train the staff to speak our brand’s voice and make sure that process is flawless both for the concession managers as well as the end consumers. This is also where I became passionate about the product and processes improvement and wanted to build my career in retail tech.
